Street art pieces by national and international artists\ndesign a construction fence approximately 200 metres long and create a new experience for all\nvisitors. From graffiti and impressive murals to imaginative installations, visitors can discover the\ndiversity of street art.<\/p>\n<p>Covivio offers artists an oversized canvas on which they can create a wide variety of artworks on\nchanging themes in the city centre of Berlin. Alexanderplatz combines the diverse aspects of an\ninternational urban metropolis and is a landmark and hotspot of the city. A place of history with a\ntransitive character for around 360,000 people, which is both characterised by a historic past and\nstands for the future development of Berlin's new centre - making Alexanderplatz the perfect location\nfor one of the largest street art galleries in Berlin.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h4\">The creative minds behind A-FENCE<\/h2>\n<p>Dozens of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.a-fence.eu\/en\/ueber-die-kuenstlerinnen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">artists are behind the street art works of A-FENCE<\/a>. The creative direction lies with the\ncurator of Street Art Berlin, Dr. Diana Marossek. In 2017, Covivio joined the \u201c1 building, 1 piece of art\u201d program in France,\nlaunched in 2015 by the Ministry of Culture. Since then, the company has been implementing this\napproach in new or renovated buildings in France, Italy, and Germany.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h4\">Other Covivio art projects<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to A-FENCE, Covivio is also involved in various art projects. Together with the intercultural\nchildren's and youth organisation Lebenswelt gGmbH, Covivio initiated a social graffiti project with\nchildren and young people under the slogan \u2018Anyone can be a graffiti artist\u2019. Guided by Berlin graffiti\nartists, the young artists painted a wall on a corner building in Berlin-Kreuzberg.\nCovivio has also been supporting Lebenshilfe projects (a charity project) for many years - including in the Knappenviertel neighbourhood in Oberhausen.
